INTRODUCTION
LOOPSH is a dynamic, random-based game built around movement within a closed loop system. Each player controls their own path, moving their pawns to eliminate opponent pieces or score points — depending on the selected game variant.
Movement is determined by dice rolls, and the key element of the game is positioning your pawns in relation to your opponent.
The winner is the player who uses the board more effectively and reaches the objective first.
PHILOSOPHY
LOOPSH is based on movement control and precise pawn positioning.
Each player moves within their own loop, but key moments occur where their positions align. These interactions determine the outcome of the game.
Speed is not the deciding factor — timing and positioning are.
COMPONENTS
The LOOPSH set includes:
- ZIP Board – fabric game board (two-loop layout, 32 spaces)
- ZIP Tray – foldable tray for dice and game elements
- 8 pawns – 4 per player (black and white)
- 2 dice – one black, one white (for movement)
- 2 blue tokens – representing online cards
- 1 NFC keychain – access to online cards, instructions, and game extras
- 1 NFC keychain – access to the 8doodles platform
RULES
The objective of the game is to eliminate opponent pawns or score points — depending on the selected variant.
Game setup:
- Each player chooses a pawn color (black or white)
- Each player receives 4 pawns and places them on starting spaces numbered 1 to 4
- Each player places 1 blue online card token on their loop (optional – only if using online cards)
The starting player is determined by rolling a die — the player with the higher result begins
Gameplay:
The active player rolls two dice – black and white
The white die determines the movement of white pawns
The black die determines the movement of black pawns
Both movements are performed in each turn
Players alternate turns
A player moves any pawn according to the number rolled, following the direction of the loop
SPACE OCCUPANCY & ELIMINATION
Only one pawn may occupy a space.
The loops intersect at specific points — these are special fields marked with arrows indicating the corresponding opposing space.
If two opposing pawns land directly opposite each other on these fields, an interaction occurs based on the selected game variant.
Before the game begins, players choose one of the following variants:
Variant A — instant elimination
The opponent’s pawn is immediately removed from the game
Variant B — elimination by dice roll
The outcome is decided by rolling a die:
– even result → pawn is removed from the game
– odd result → pawn remains on the board
Variant C — scoring system
Instead of elimination, the player earns 10 points
Before the game begins, players set the number of points required to win

TOKENS & ONLINE CARDS
Using online cards is optional. The game can be played without them.
If players choose to use them, each player places 1 blue token on their loop at the start of the game.
If a pawn lands on a space with a token:
→ the player draws an online card and follows the instruction on the card
After use, the token is moved to any space on the board.
Online cards introduce additional actions and modify the flow of the game.
