Players collect different elements from the board and draw them on their game sheets, using dots and lines to create connections and develop their layouts. Different gameplay variants introduce new ways to play, while a dedicated set of Online Cards can add unexpected twists and change the course of the game. The physical game connects with its own dedicated Online Card Set that adds new actions, interactions, and possibilities beyond the board. Three integrated smart access tags provide instant smartphone access to Online Cards and game content, combining handcrafted physical play with an evolving digital experience.

Can I play DOTS AND LINES using the QRious Card Edition?

Yes. The QRious Card Edition lets you play DOTS AND LINES without physical dice. Digital QRious Cards on your smartphone generate the symbols needed during gameplay.

A regular sheet of grid paper can be used to play, but 8doodles Members can also download game sheets created specifically for DOTS AND LINES. These ready-to-print sheets include additional game elements and make it easier to record and follow each round. If the game offers different gameplay variants, dedicated sheets are provided for the individual versions.

The QRious Card Edition and its supporting materials are included with 8doodles Membership.

The personalized ZIP & PLAY version is a separate physical product supplied in a portable pouch. It uses the original 2-dice system together with physical Dynamic Card Tokens and can be personalized using the options offered for DOTS AND LINES.

Is there a DOTS AND LINES game board I can print on a T-shirt?

Yes. Members can download a specially prepared DOTS AND LINES game board file suitable for printing on a T-shirt, along with the corresponding game sheets available under Member Resources.

You can use your own dice or 8doodles Digital Dice to play. Small everyday objects can serve as Dynamic Tokens on the board, while the Online Cards connected to DOTS AND LINES are available through your Membership. This allows you to use the Dynamic Token mechanic with your T-shirt game board as well.

Can I sell DOTS AND LINES game boards, files, or products I make with them?

No. Downloadable DOTS AND LINES game boards, game sheets, and related materials provided through 8doodles Membership are licensed for personal use only. They cannot be resold, shared, distributed, or used to make products for commercial sale.

This restriction applies to the original digital files as well as physical items made with them, including T-shirts and other products featuring the DOTS AND LINES game board.
